My friend recently decided that she wanted to give cycling a try and with only a month of training, she plans to attempt to ride around Lake Biwa (Japan’s biggest lake). She has no real cycling experience other than riding a bike to work for 20 minutes everyday, and this was only her second ever time on a road bike, but she managed to ride 80km (roughly half of Lake Biwa’s 160km) with relative ease.

Most of the area filmed is from along the beautiful Yahagi river in Toyota, Japan. Only about 2 weeks remaining until we attempt the Lake Biwa Challenge!
