In today’s VLOG I met with my good friend Sayaka to wander around some beautiful spots in Nagoya Japan in search of 紅葉 (kouyou), Japanese Autumn leaves. Japan is especially beautiful this time of year, so we were able to see some spectacularly stunning sights along the way.
We also stopped into 大須観音 (Osu Kannon) for some good food and dessert.
豚鉄板 (buta teppan) is a kind of fried pork dish. It is not commonly served in Japan, but I stumbled across this restaurant one day while wandering around Osu and it quickly became one of my favorite dishes here.
We also grabbed some dessert from the local taiyaki shop, 銀のあん (gin no an). As they say in Japan, 別腹 (betsu bara, or separate stomach for sweets).
Great day with my friend Sayaka in Nagoya, and lots of beautiful views of the autumn leaves.
