Ichibanken 「一番軒」, a local Nagoya ramen chain which specializes in tonkotsu ramen (豚骨ラーメン) was running a special campaign for the month of June where YouTubers with over 100 subscribers could eat (and drink) for free!

Naturally, this campaign gathered a lot of interest and the English speaking Nagoya Youtubers gathered together for a fun evening filled with some really tasty food.

We met with Victor (Gimmeabreakman) and Tomoko-san, and quickly ordered away.. Our first pick was to get some of the famous tonkotsu ramen (豚骨ラーメン).

Thuong and I went with the Taiwan style tonkotsu ramen, which was a bit spicier, but absolutely delicious!

Normally ramen restuarants in Japan don’t have much else on the menu other than ramen, but Ichibanken 「一番軒」 had a giant menu stacked with a bunch of delicious looking items. Some of our other choices were tebasaki gyoza and tebasaki flavored karaage (fried chicken).

It was difficult to film since we just wanted to stuff our faces with as much food as possible.

All in all, we had a great night and enjoyed some amazing food. If you’re looking for some good ramen and fried chicken in Nagoya, Ichibanken is a great place to visit. They have numerous locations all around Nagoya.
